Ah, the beautiful state of Hawaii. It is the embodiment of Shangri-La, with its lush tropical landscape, dramatic waterfalled cliffs, swaying palm trees, endless vistas of blue waters, wide sandy beaches and wonderful people. From the pictures it looks like I might be in Hawaii, doesn’t it? But I am not. I am in Crystal Lake, Illinois at a luau with my Mom, Patrick and some of the family. We had a great time and the Hula dancer reminded me of the kind, gentle, Aloha Spirit. Mahalo. |

While in Illinois, Patrick and I went to the FABULOUS “Wet Party” at Hunter’s Chicago on Labor Day Weekend. The party was a huge success.
The packed crowd was having a great time around the swimming pool and outdoor shower in the beer garden as well as mobbing the dance floor inside.
I extend a very special thanks to the entire staff and DJ Laurence K. I understand that there are going to be more special promotions held at Hunter’s
Chicago in the future. Keep the promotions coming guys, we all love them.
Last but not least, a first for the Hunter’s Nightclubs. All three clubs, which include Chicago, Palm Springs and San Jose, have made a collaborative donation to a single organization. As you know, all of the Hunter’s Night Clubs are deeply entrenched in the communities they serve, donating a lot of time, money and effort to local as well as national organizations. Last week was the first time that all three clubs donated to a single charity. The charity was the Faktura Pet Projekt. It is a NO KILL pet rescue organization that is run by Jacquelyn Johnston (pictured) and Andrea Seamans. The girls are based in Wilton Manors, Florida and held a “Yappy Hour Fundraiser” at the New Moon Bar. Imagine dogs, dogs, and more dogs, at happy hour.
