Where in the world is Mark Hunter

June 2007

Boys, girls, Moms, Dads, aunts, uncles, and everything in between, BIG NEWS, the San Jose Hunter’s has opened. The spectacular opening that brought out throngs of people was celebrated on June 1, 2007.

My most sincere congratulations to Cindi and Rod the two owners of the very first franchise of the Hunter’s Night Clubs brand. They did an exceptional job in bringing the Hunter’s experience to the great city of San Jose.

By the way, if you have never been to San Jose, it is worth a trip. It is a beautiful city just minutes south of San Francisco that is alive with great historic architecture and has an abundance of great restaurants, nightclubs and entertainment venues. Did you know that San Jose is the tenth largest city in this great country of ours?

Anyway, the new Hunter’s is wonderfully architectural, with exposed brick walls, beamed loft ceilings and skylights. There are two open air two patios, one street side and another more intimate one, in the rear of the building. The cruisey bar is a large rectangular area with the most mesmerizing black granite top that has silver flecks in it, dazzling the eye.

The electric opening night had everyone of the San Jose area coming out for the party. The lines stretched out for a block, but most people didn’t seem to mind. The room was buzzing with excitement as the staff worked tirelessly in creating a top notch night club experience. Words of praise for the bar opening, and thankfulness were being overheard everywhere. One very special night! My partner Patrick and I had a great time! We thank you San Jose. I close singing the words of one of my favorite stars, Dionne Warwick, “Do you know the way to San Jose”? If you don’t, you should.
Until next time, Ciao. .......Mark Hunter
